- We keep bagged mortar and cement under cover, out of the sun and off the ground.
- We can tell you how much a pallet of block or a ton of sand covers, so you order close to what the job needs.

Questions we get asked
Do you deliver to job sites, or do I have to pick up materials myself?
We deliver to job sites around Tucson and also load for yard pickup. Delivery depends on the load size and your location, so call ahead with your address and what you need.
How do I know how much block or sand I need for my project?
Bring us your measurements: wall length, height, and thickness for block, or square footage for sand and gravel. We'll work out the quantity with you so you're not short or stuck with extra pallets.
Does Tucson heat affect mortar or cement I buy now but use later?
Bagged mortar and cement pull moisture from the air and can start to set up if stored wrong. Keep bags off the ground, out of direct sun, and use them within the timeframe printed on the bag.
Can I rent tools instead of buying them for a small job?
Yes, we carry tools like mixers and wheelbarrows for sale or rental for smaller jobs. Ask at the counter which tools we have available on the day you need them.
What block or stone works best for a retaining wall on a sloped lot?
It depends on the slope and the soil behind the wall. We can point you toward segmental retaining wall block built for the height you're constructing and talk through drainage behind the wall.
Do you carry stone that matches what's already on my house?
We stock a range of natural stone and manufactured veneer, but exact matches for older or discontinued stone aren't guaranteed. Bring in a sample or photo and we'll help you find the closest match.
