Questions we get asked
Do I need to bring a water sample or can you test my pool at home?
We test water samples here at the store, we don't go out to test pools onsite. Bring about a cup of pool or spa water in a clean container and we'll check it while you wait.
How much water do you need for a test?
About a cup is plenty for a full test. Collect it from elbow depth, away from the skimmer or any return jet, so it reflects the pool and not just surface water.
Do you carry parts for my specific pump brand?
We stock parts for common pump and filter brands used in this area. If we don't have your part on the shelf, we can order it and let you know when it comes in.
Can you tell me what's wrong with my pool just from a water sample?
A water test tells us the chemical balance: chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizer. It won't tell us about equipment problems like a failing pump or a cracked line; that's a different kind of visit.
Do you carry supplies for above-ground pools?
Yes. We stock liners, ladders, filter cartridges, and chemicals sized for above-ground pools, not just in-ground systems.
When should I start buying opening supplies for spring?
Most people pick up opening supplies in early spring, before daytime temperatures climb enough for algae to take hold. We keep opening kits and chemicals in stock through that window.
